Momentum invests 20 million in build to rent development in Guadalajara

Construction has begun on the next Las Jaras de Cabanillas development, owned by the Spanish property management company Momentum, in the province of Guadalajara. The development is located in Cabanillas del Campo and will have 87 build-to-rent single-family homes, including private garden, common areas and communal swimming pool.

The construction company in charge is Avintia, and the management company has invested 20 million euros. Construction is expected to be completed in January 2025. The plots will range in size from 180 to 260 square meters. The built area will vary between 147 and 177 square meters.

The development has access control and concierge service, as well as common areas, swimming pool with night lighting, children's play area and landscaped areas for walking and strolling.

Momentum's national director of Residential Projects, Óscar Calvo, mentioned that Las Jaras de Cabanillas is a unique opportunity to acquire a 4-bedroom home with common areas in the Corredor de Henares. He also adds that these homes are aimed at both young people looking for their first home, as well as families who want to change their current home for a spacious one with a private garden.

Las Jaras de Cabanillas is located in Mondéjar street, in front of Elena de la Cruz Park, surrounded by shopping, sports, culture and leisure areas. The Guadalajara Renfe train station is only ten minutes away. It is also close to industrial, business and commercial parks of the Corredor del Henares.

With this development, Momentum is engaged in one of its five types of real estate development, rental housing. The other types of development in which the management company is engaged are: cooperatives, serviced apartments, residential for sale, and Senior Housing and Student Housing projects.

Momentum is currently developing more than 5,200 units of serviced apartments, being a pioneer and national leader in this development. The Spanish real estate investment manager was founded in 2008 and currently has more than 1.2 billion euros under management (AUM).
