Harrison Street and DeA Capital buy another "build-to-rent” in Alicante

The strategic collaboration between the investment holding of the Italian Agostini group and the American Harrison Street fund continues to strengthen. The alliance has carried out the acquisition of a 284-unit building in Alicante, intended to be used as rental housing, as reported in a statement issued by the group. The building, located in the Benisaudet neighborhood, has two phases of renovation planned, which will end in the fourth quarter of 2025. With this investment in the "build-to-rent" business model, the alliance's portfolio, which operates under the name Lavidda, is further expanded.

Since its inception last year, Lavidda has successfully managed eight projects, totaling 1,634 homes, including seven projects in development and one in operation. As the brand continues to expand, it is expected to manage 3,000 homes by 2025. This new acquisition is in addition to the purchase by the collaborators of another Spanish BTR, a residential Neinor Homes in Madrid, composed of 146 units.

Most of the projects of the alliance offer luxury all-inclusive services: 24-hour concierge, gym, kitchen for events, lounge, swimming pool, paddle y cinema, as well as private terraces, gardens, coworking spaces and a patio.

The new acquisition demonstrates the confidence that Harrison Street and De Agostini have in the Alicante real estate market, as well as in the “build-to-rent” business model. Both companies continue to bet on growth and expansion in the sector, with the aim of offering future tenants a quality housing offer.

“The demand for modern, equipped and affordable housing continues to grow in Spain, that's why we have worked with DeA Capital to expand our presence and identify attractive BTR properties in key metropolitan areas with significant growth potential,” said Paul Bashir, CEO of Harrison Street in Europe.
